I Replace Worry With Action | 190

What can I do about this right now?

I shared several ways to stay motivated from the book 100 Ways to Motivate Yourself: Change Your Life Forever by Steven Chandler, and today, I’ll share one last move.

Do you know fear has a hard time coexisting with action? Instead of worrying, why not replace your fear with action? How about letting worry change into action? When there’s action, there’s no fear. When there’s fear, there’s no action.

Have you ever asked yourself, why are you worried? Instead of asking, “What can I do about this,” try asking, “What can I do about this right now?”

Don’t just worry. Do something. Anything. Right now.

When you worry, you don’t worry a thing to death; you worry it to life. All the worrying you’re doing makes the problem grow, so decide to spend five minutes on whatever problem you have and do something, anything, right now.

Grab a pencil and write these affirmations down:

I am not worried.
I will not worry.
I will take action on my problem right now.
I have no fear because I am too busy taking action.
I will spend 5 minutes doing something, anything on each of my problems right now.
I replace worry with action.
