Life can get tough.
I want to say it feels good to be back. Nothing in my life at this moment is business as usual, but it’s okay. I’m happy and optimistic. Everything will be okay. Everything is okay.
On Fridays, it’s all about positive affirmations.
Today’s note: I Take Care of Myself
How you take care of yourself affects your mind, body, and soul. When life comes at you fast, you may find it hard to make sure your self-care needs are met but not giving up is what you do best.
Feeling overwhelmed or stressed is common but doesn’t have to be permanent. If you are going through something, it’s okay. Life can get tough.
Identifying the issue, devising a realistic plan for overcoming your problems, and making self-care a priority is a great way to prevent or recover from hard times.
Grab a pencil and write these affirmations down:
I do things that are good for my body and mind.
I avoid unhealthy habits.
I get enough sleep and rest when needed.
I reduce the amount of stress in my life.
I know when to unplug.
I stay connected with a powerful support group that includes my close friends and family.
I look for the good.
I respond, not react.
I am kind to myself.
I know when to say no.
I know when to ask for help.
I take care of myself.
