Life is waiting for you to show up.

 
Not me. What happened? Where did my social life go? Where did my drive to be present go?
 
Why wasn’t I invited? No one thinks to invite me. No one cares about me. Another day, another week, and another lonely month in the house.
 
Wait, what is happening to me? I’m Miss f*ck you, f*ck them, and f*ck that. I love myself. I’m okay in my skin. I’m okay being by myself. I’m okay doing things alone. I’m never going to be lonely as long as I have myself.
 
Just get dressed and go. It will be okay. Wait, am I okay? What is happening? These are all thoughts that have crossed my mind in the past week.
 
I dread the word “trigger,” but truth be told, the holidays seem to always bring something out of me. It’s that something feeling. It’s that feeling of being alone. The feeling that no one cares. That feeling of what happened. A feeling I don’t like. And then, just like that, after a moment or two of feeling some type of way, I realized it’s going to be okay. It is okay. I am loved. I love myself, and that’s all that matters. I am enough. And then I changed my mood and picked my spirit up. After all, I have a life to live.
 
One of my favorite things to say is, life is waiting for you to show up. No matter what you are going through and how you feel, never forget life is waiting for you to show up.
 
We all have moments where we feel like sh*t. There will be a time where you feel like the world is against you. At some point, you may feel lonely or that no one understands what you are going through.
 
Things will not always go your way. But the great thing about life is it continues to happen. The universe is waiting for you to show up and live your best life. To do that, though, you can’t be afraid. Even if you are, show up anyway.
 
Don’t forget to live.
