Want 3 surprising steps to get unstuck?

One Thing At A Time | Note 069

Belonging to “Team Doing Too Much” will leave you burned out and spinning your wheels.

To do two things at once is to do neither.”

“If you chase two rabbits, you will catch neither one.”

“Be like a postage stamp—stick to one thing until you get there.”

These are all quotes that mean the same thing — focus on one thing at a time.

You don’t have to do it all. Now, don’t misunderstand me. You can have it all. You just don’t have to do in all at one time.

When you divide your attention among many tasks, it makes it difficult to focus and give everything your best effort. Even if you feel you’re focused, be honest with yourself, are you doing your best?

More than likely, you aren’t as efficient as you could be. It takes more energy to pursue multiple things at once, as opposed to focusing on one thing at a time. If you are juggling multiple projects at one time, you’re probably struggling to finish just one thing. Belonging to “Team Doing Too Much” will leave you burned out and spinning your wheels.

If you eliminate everything and focus on one thing at a time, you’ll be able to complete your tasks and projects faster. So, figure out what is truly important. Make sure it is aligned with your purpose and goals, then do that!

Remember, everything is possible if you do one thing at a time.
