Find Yourself Acceptable To You | Note 158
Are you truly living your best life?
“To really “live,” that is, to find life reasonably satisfying, you must have an adequate and realistic self-image that you can live with. You must find yourself acceptable to “you.” You must have a wholesome self-esteem. You must have a self that you can trust and believe in. You must have a self that you are not ashamed to “be,” and one that you can feel free to express creatively, rather than hide or cover up.”
The quote above is from the book “Psycho-Cybernetics” by Maxwell Maltz.
Today’s Note: Find Yourself Acceptable To You
The self-image is said to be the real secret. Do you find your current life reasonably satisfying?
Are you comfortable with your current self-image?
Are you proud of who you are and what you do?
Are you free to express your creativity?
Here’s a thought. If your answer was No to any of the questions I asked, are you truly living your best life? Better yet, do you find yourself acceptable to you?
