The Quicker You’ll Get to Happiness | Motivational Quote | Note 568
How fast can you pivot?
I want to talk about pivoting. To celebrate my birthday last week, I shared eight life lessons I’ve learned with my newsletter subscribers. One of those life lessons was learning to pivot faster. Today, I want to talk about the benefits of pivoting.
“Famous pivot stories are often failures but you don’t need to fail before you pivot. All a pivot is is a change is strategy without a change in vision. Whenever entrepreneurs see a new way to achieve their vision – a way to be more successful – they have to remain nimble enough to take it,” said entrepreneur and author Eric Ries.
Changing the direction of your life starts with a pivot. Pivoting was never a big issue for me, but moving on from grudges was. I had to learn not to let anyone or any adverse situation take up space in my head. And as Wayne Dyer once said, “If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”
Many people spend a lifetime unwilling to change or afraid to move on. However, pivoting creates opportunity and helps you grow.
How you spend your time is how you spend your life. Get moving if you’re in a situation that no longer serves you. The faster you move on, the quicker you’ll get to happiness.
