Your Freedom Reminds Them of Their Prison | Note 123
When you get to where you can say f**k it, some surprising things will happen.
“The moment your world of meanings starts to shift a little is the moment you start to upset this balance. The moment you start to free yourself from your normal attachments and meaning by saying F**k It to things, is the moment people will start to get pissed off with you.”
The quote above is from the book “f**k it: the ultimate spiritual way” by John Parkin. In the book, John also states, “anyone who shows any signs of real freedom reminds everyone else what a prison they’re living in.”
If you listened to yesterday’s podcast, I shared a dramatic moment. I had a breakthrough. I said, “f**k it.” And to be honest, at that moment, I realized I was living in my self-built prison.
Today’s Note: Your Freedom Reminds Them of Their Prison
When you get to where you can say f**k it, some surprising things will happen.
You’ll have a breakthrough.
You’ll free yourself of unwanted baggage.
You’ll free yourself of stuff that doesn’t matter.
You’ll stop trying to be anything other than who you are.
You’ll also say f**k it to what people think of you.
And with this new freedom, there will be haters. Sadly, your freedom will remind someone of their prison.
