Why It’s Difficult To Overcome Procrastination | Note 524
What motivates you to get things done?
Let’s get one thing straight: procrastination isn’t the same as laziness. Procrastination is postponing taking action.
Fear, anxiety, perfectionism, lack of motivation, indecisiveness, or lack of energy, when you figure out why you procrastinate, you’ll successfully be able to deal with it.
Whether or not you think you can or can’t do hard things or just don’t want to, it’s tough to overcome procrastination because it feels so damn good until it doesn’t.
You’ll learn to use your time wisely and more effectively.
You’ll stop procrastinating and realize it’s disrupting your life when it no longer feels good — when the bad outweighs the good.
If you are a chronic dilly dallier, it’s time to ask yourself why it’s difficult to overcome procrastination.
