Who are you going to call?

 
I’ve walked the earth for several decades as an only child. I have only known what it was like to rely on myself, help myself, and depend on myself.
 
My world was rocked the past week. Life as I know it changed.
 
Shoot, things have really changed, but have they?
 
I’m sure you are wondering what I’m talking about?
 
Sparing you all the details, I had a walk-up call. I discovered I was not alone. But, and yes, there is a but… I still have to rely on myself, help myself, and depend on myself.
 
If you have no one to call, what will you do? Will you solve your own problems? Will you at least try? Or will you give up?
 
Will you decide there is no reason to try?
 
Would you agree the consequences are more severe if you fail without trying versus trying and failing?
 
At least if you try to help yourself, you can learn from your mistakes.
 
I don’t know about you, but I hope you won’t give up.
 
I’m sure you can figure out a way to help yourself.
