This week is all about Bob Proctor. For those who aren’t familiar with Bob Proctor’s story, he read his first book at age 26. He has often said reading and studying that book changed his life so dramatically that he read it every day for the remainder of his life.
 
Bob Proctor once said, while he couldn’t come up with a definitive list of books, he never wanders far from books with some aspect of personal growth. His favorite books changed over time, but here are six books he has recommended.

Ralph Waldo Emerson was one of Bob Proctor’s favorite authors because he often wrote about achieving goals and desires. The book Self-Reliance is all about inspiration for daily living.

This book covers many principles in the ground-breaking documentary The Secret, a film featuring Bob Proctor.
 

You2 by Price Pritchett

Bob said he fell in love with this book when he first read it. He read it for years, even carrying a copy in his case all the time. This 36-page book is also on my shelf.

And if you were wondering, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill was the first book Bob ever read. Bob read excerpts from Think and Grow Rich every day for close to 60 years. He said he didn’t just read the book; he studied the book. It’s a book that I often reread as well.
