“Don’t Get Good at Doing Something You Hate” — Chris Do | Note 363

Take the risks.

All this week, I am sharing inspirational Instagram posts that I have saved over time. Today I am sharing a post from The Chris Do.

Chris Do is an Emmy award-winning designer, director, and the founder of The Futur, an online education platform with the mission of teaching 1 billion people how to make a living doing what they love.

Today’s note: Don’t Get Good at Doing Something You Hate

The caption below is from Chris Do’s Instagram.

Chris writes:

“Are you busy working too long, doing a job you hate, for people you don’t like? Don’t get good at doing something you hate. Your life is too short. Find something you care about. Pursue it with all your might. Don’t stop until you achieve what you want. I’ll see you at the top. @thezigziglar”

Chris added the following in his Instagram carousel:

“Don’t get good at doing something you hate.

You get more of what you’re good at.

It’s one of the reasons why I’ve quit every job I’ve ever had.

I didn’t want to be good at being an employee.

I’m willing to put in the work, take the risks, and reap the rewards of being an entrepreneur.”

Remember, don’t get good at doing something you hate
